Assassin's Creed Odyssey Writing On The Wall
Episode 7
You'll start this episode aboard the Adrestia, needing to make your way over to Naxos, there's nothing of note along the way so head straight there, docking in the port in Aridane's Fate.
Naxos
The Writing's on the Wall
In the port region, you'll find a street vendor looking at some 'art' on the wall, speak to him and he'll task you with investigating the graffiti around the area. The first one is right next to you, with the second one being just a small way north on a house with mostly blue walls, then the final one is on the back wall in the middle of the larger building opposite the last one. Return to the street vendor, and he'll tell you that it's most likely that the person you're looking for is near the Routsouna Waterfall, located on the east side of this region next to a lake. As you approach it, use Ikaros to find the artist inside, then head in and as the cave rounds to the right, look left and squeeze through the gap in the wall to find the artist. Talk to him for a cutscene to end the quest.
In Naxos Quarry just to the north of here, you'll find the Procrastinate Now ostraka , then directly south you'll come across the Deathbed of Ariadne where there is an Ancient Tablet. To the south-west of the island in a small bay is the Shipwreck of Dionysos and the Pirate, which isUnderwater Treasure (23/42). On the east side of Naxos you'll find the Giant Heroes Burial Ground, break the wall inside and dive underwater, swim straight ahead towards a chest, then take the left path down the steps and follow the path until you reach a room with a block in the middle. Swim up here, move the shelves out of the way, and the Ancient Stele will be in the room behind in. Make your way back to the docks now, on the north-west tip of the docks is a temple being constructed, climb to the top of the tallest part and interact with it to complete the Procrastination Now ostraka.
A Mother's Prayers
Head a little ways in land from the dock and up the hill to reach the house where Myrrine is located and interact with the door for a cutscene. Afterwards, follow Myrrine until you reach a cliff overlooking a beach with several soldiers on it. Take them out in whatever way you see fit, Myrrine and her guards will assist you, and once they're all dead the quest will end.
Catching Up
Talk to Myrrine on the beach, then once the talk is over follow her back to the city of Naxos and to a temple, and once she's finished talking to the builder, another cutscene will play. Afterwards you will be attacked by some of the guards around the house, take them out and end the quest.
Death and Disorder
Head to the Temple of Dionysos and speak to Myrrine, she'll be talking with Aspasia about the cultists trying to kill Myrrine. The killers are on the south side of the island in the Zeus Cove region. There's a cave halfway up the cliff edge inside the cove, the Cave of Mt. Zas, which you'll be prompted to find with Ikaros as you get close to it. Head through the cave until you reach a large open area where there will be four guards to take out, then climb the ladder opposite where you entered to find a small gap in the wall. Make your way through the gap and kill the two assassins here, then whilst you're in here, grab the Stubborn Mule ostraka, as well as the Fanged Bow legendary item from the altar. Make your way back to Myrrine in the city of Naxos.
The next two story quests take you to Paros, but before doing so, sail to the two islands to the south of Naxos. The western on is where you'll find a donkey on the north-eastern coast next to a small pile of hay, which is the end of the Stubborn Mule ostraka. The eastern island doesn't contain anything of importance, except Alektryon's Rest where you can fight an alpha Rooster if you want.
Paros
Quarry Quandary
Sail to the ship dock on the east side of Paros and a short way south you'll find a soldier lying in the remains of a destroyed ship. Talk to him to find out that Euneas has been captured and taken to the Fortified Marble Camp in the center of the island. It's quite a large camp so scout it out well before making your way into it. Euneas is at the very top of it, so the easiest way to reach him is to climb down from the cliffs to the north of him to reach the area directly. Once he's been freed, go directly south out of the quarry until you're prompted to talk to him.
Going Down
Return back to the quarry and clear it out of enemies, and loot all the chests, free the prisoners, and burn all the war supplies. The quest will complete long before you killed and looted everything in the quarry, especially once you loot the Purple nations chest from the center area of the quarry. If for some reason the quest doesn't complete after clearing out the quarry, there are three more areas on the island that can be looted to lower the nation power to the required stage.
As with Naxos, there's a small island off the coast of Paros, where you can find the Alkios Tomb. As usual follow the main path through the tomb, keeping an eye out for the snakes as you go. At the first dead end, break the wall on the right, then move the shelves on the left hand side out of the way to find the room with the Ancient Stele in it. Once completed you can return to Naxos to speak with Myrrine again.
The Paros Blockade
Back on Naxos, speak to Myrrine and you'll find out that Paros has blockaded the island. Return to the docks and board the Adrestia, then head into the sea to take on the first three ships. If you haven't already, now would be a good time to perform some upgrades to your ship, but it's possible to do the quest without any, it'll just take longer. Always board the enemies ships once their health is low enough as it'll restore some of your ships health, and you also won't take any damage to your ship during the process. Once the three ships are taken care of, return to the Naxos dock and speak to Myrrine again.
Unified Front
Speak to Myrrine again at the docks, it's time to destroy some more ships. This time there will be four of them to deal with so it's a much more challenging fight. Once again, it's highly recommended to do some upgrades to your ship, particularly the hull, but as with the last quest, it's still possible to do with no upgrades, it'll just be a lot harder. Once the four ships have been dealt with, return to Naxos docks for a cutscene.
For completing the last quest, you'll be rewarded with the Spartan War Hero Gauntlets legendary item for killing Silanos, the leader of Paros, who isPeloponnesian League Cultist (2/6).
From Naxos/Paros, there is a lot of additional content to explore on the islands around here. At this time the guide will be visiting all of the islands, clearing up what can be done on them. Should you wish to only follow the story islands and those in that direction, and deal with these islands later, that works too. If you wish to follow the guide, then get ready for a loooong detour. For the next story location, click here.
Mykonos
As you approach Mykonos, on the small island to the south-west is Prasonisia Island where you will find The Silver Griffin, kill him for The Silver Vein Cultist (3/6)and also receive Agamemnon's Body Armor. Continue into the dock on the west side of Mykonos, and if you agreed to transport Kleio to the island, you'll complete the questEscort Service upon arriving.
Trouble in Paradise
To the south of the synchronization location in the docks is the start of this quest, approach the house for a cutscene with Barnabas, and find out there's a bounty for your head on the island. There are two hideouts for you to explore as part of this quest, the first one is to the north-east of the city inside cave. As you make your way through a cutscene will play introducing you to Kyra. Follow her down to the beach afterwards and fight the Athenians, then agree to join them at the hideout. Afterwards, explore the hideout to find the Marbled Morale ostraka in one of the side rooms.
Kyra with a Cause
Meet Kyra next to the Temple of Artemis, you'll have to travel to Delos, the island just west of Mykonos to complete the quest but it's only a short journey. Dock your ship on the west side if you wish and head north into the Sacred Lands of Artemis to find the Kynthos Ruins. Use Ikaros to find the four war supplies in the camp and burn them all. Whilst you're here, grab the Grave Discovery ostraka as well, then return back to Kyra on Mykonos.
Bleeding Hearts and Stolen Money
Return back to Porphyrion Cave and speak to Kyra again, you'll have to head to the fort in the northern part of the island. Obviously as it's a fort there will be a lot of resistance in it, and the building you're looking for is right in the middle of it. Take your time making your way to it, killing the guards as you wish, and once you've looted the nation chest, find Kyra to the south-east of the fort and speak to her to end the quest.
Goddess of the Hunt
Back to the Porphyrion Cave to speak to Praxos, then head to the Altar of Artemis to find Kyra. Go north east to find the hunting grounds, following Kyra, and kill three Ibex roaming the area to end the quest.
"M" for Murder
North-west of the Temple of Artemis will be a beggar asking you for help, speak with her then follow the path to reach the Abandoned House. Investigate the rug on the floor, the skeleton, the document on the table, and the figure on the table upstairs. Speak to the beggar outside the house, and you'll have to make your way to the Leader House to find a doll inside. If you approach the house from the north-east you'll have an easy way into the room where the doll is, then return to the cave hideout and speak with Kyra.
The Thaletas Way
Find Thaletas on the north-east coast and agree to help him by destroying three Athenian ships. Do so and return to Thaletas, then agree to help him kill the Athenian Polemarches to start the next quest.
Paint the Sand Red
There will be three Polemarches to kill, two on Mykonos, and one on Delos. The first one to target on Mykonos is in the Leleges Military Camp on the western border of the Artemis Hill region. As you approach the camp, use Ikaros to pinpoint his exact location, then take him out as you see fit. The second Polemarch on Mykonos is in the Suenites Quarry on the south coast of Tavern Point, again use Ikaros to pinpoint his location and take him out. Whilst here, walk along the waters edge to see a piece of rope crossing in front of an opening with a banner hanging from it, inside the opening you'll see some dead bodies and a skeleton, interact with the skeleton to complete the Marbled Morale ostraka. The final Polemarch is on the south-east coast of Delos at the Farm of Elais. Unlike the other two, you will be given a choice in how to deal with this one as you'll talk to him first. If you choose to recruit him, he will be available as a legendary lieutenant. Whichever way you've chosen to deal with him, return to Thaletas who'll now be on Delos to end the quest.
Call to Arms
Return back to the east coast of Mykonos and speak to the Polemarch on the beach and agree to help him fight. You'll take part in the conquest battle for the island for doing so, and after killing the first four captains, you'll be in a fight with Diokles the enemy hero. He's not too hard, no different than a regular mercenary. Once he's down, fight a few more captains and the enemy Polemarch to claim victory. You'll get a note from Podarkes after the fight, revealing him as a cultist.
Hades, Meet Podarkes
Penultimate quest on Mykonos, head to Mykonos city and you'll find Podarkes walking around near the Temple of Artemis. Fight him, then talk to him very briefly. Once he's dead, you'll receive the Athenian War Hero Boots, as well as killingDelian League Cultist (2/6).
A Night to Remember
Head to the center of Mykonos city to the bridge crossing the river for a cutscene with Barnabas, then head to the south coast to get another cutscene with Kyra. If you want the best ending to the quest, choose "Find a new purpose". Return to the party and speak to Barnabas to end the quest, wrapping up all quests on Mykonos, but there's still a couple more things to wrap up.
Make your way to the Leader House and grab the Estate Envy ostraka from the tower in the northern corner, then go south to a house facing out onto the ocean and interact with a bowl on a table in a pool to complete the ostraka. Next, go to the northern coast to find the Shipwreck of Ajax, you'll have to dive through the broken ship to find the second chest here, and finding both will completeUnderwater Treasure (24/42).In the sea between Mykonos and Delos, you will find the Ruins of the Sea People forUnderwater Treasure (25/42).Sail south around Delos to find the Sunken Wreck of Datis and loot the two chests, as well as grabbing the Needle in a Haystack ostraka to completeUnderwater Treasure (26/42). Set foot on the small island here to ensure it counts towards to 100% discovery, then dock in Delos.
Delos
The Sokratic Method
A short way inland, you'll find Sokrates just east of the Grand Temple of Apollo. You'll be tasked with freeing a prisoner from the Hestiatorion, a building on the western coast of this region. The prisoner is being held on the west of the building overlooking the ocean. Free him, escort him and return to Sokrates.
Grin and Bear It
Slightly north-east of the Grand Temple of Apollo, you'll find a woman called Iola whose been badly injured by a bear. Head north to the Sacred Lands of Artemis and you'll find the bear on the beach. Kill it, then investigate the shipwreck, including the boxes on the inside and the mesh cloth outside, then return to Iola.
That's all the quests for the island, just a couple more things to clear up. First, head to the south side of the Grand Temple of Apollo and drop down on to the rocks overlooking the ocean. On the side of the building will be three statues, the middle one will have a secret path behind it hidden by some banners. Follow the path and drop down the hole, deal with the snakes, then investigate the apples on the west side of the room to complete the Grave Discovery ostraka. To get back out, simply climb one of the pillars. Head south back to the Farm of Elais, to find a large haystack in the south-east corner, interact with it to complete the Needle in a Haystack ostraka. The last place to visit here is the Tomb of Brizo in the Sacred Lands of Artemis, as usual follow the only path until the first fork, then go left and drop down to the floor below, watching out for the snakes as you do so. Once they're dealt with, go into the room on the northern side and break the wall to find the Ancient Stele, then fast travel back out. We're done with these islands now, our next port of call island wise is Samos, but first, head north of Andros to come across Asterion and his ship, deal with it as you would any normal ship, and once he's dead, you'll receive the Pirate Gauntlets, as well asGod of the Aegean Sea Cultist (1/6). Continue on to Samos now (you'll be dealing with the northern islands later).
Whilst there's nothing to do on Samos, you'll need to set foot on it to go towards the 100% achievement. There are also small islands to the north and south of Samos you'll need to set foot on as well. The northern one has a chest with Poseidon's Trident, a legendary spear which also grants you the ability to breath underwater, making getting treasure so much easier. The south island has nothing of note. There's nothing of note on Samos either, just be sure to set foot in all three regions (Black Forest, Devotee's Sanctuary, and Persian Bay). Travel south from Samos to reach your next destination, Kos. As you sail south, keep an eye out for a ship with purple sails with an octopus on them. The ship is usually just of the south-east coast of Kradia Isle, and has The Mytilenian Shark cultist on board. Defeat the ship to get the Pirate Boots, andGods of the Aegean Sea Cultist (2/6).
Kos
Dock your ship on the south side of the island in the Highlands of Asklepiades, then make your way north-east to find the Artesmisia Fort.
A Business Opportunity
Locate Markos within the fort, unlock his cage, and carry him out of the fort to his vineyard, directly north of the fort.
Old Friends, Old Problems
Speak to Markos after dropping him off, he's in money trouble again but seems to think wine will solve the issue. Go back south-west to near where you docked your ship to find Kos Port, with the Cerberus standing just outside it. Talk to him, and whichever option you choose you'll be in a fight against the Cerberus and several of his guards. If you chose to drink the wine, you'll also start on low health. After defeating the guards, return to Markos.
Farm in Flames
Whilst speaking to Markos, he'll ask you to take care of the Cerberus's farm, which is opposite the Port where you fought him. The silo's are easy enough to take down from a distance with fire arrows, or if you prefer, take them out up close with the torch. There's no guards here to worry about, just a couple off annoyed villagers. Once again, return to Markos.
Markos's Fate
Markos may have made a mistake, and this may have some quite serious consequences. After the cutscene with him ends, you'll be in a fight against several guards and several civilians. If you're really lucky, all the killing will attract a bounty hunter to you as well. Use everything in your arsenal to take them out, then speak to Markos again.
For completing the four quests, you'll unlock;
The last thing to do on Kos is to travel to the beach on the north-east side of the island to find the Tomb of Polybotes. Head inside and down the stairs and defeat the two cultists in the room at the bottom. Kill the guard in the next hallway, then break the pots against the wall and slide through the gap, drop down the hole and grab the Ancient Stele. Leave the tomb and return to your ship, then sail south towards Nisyros, then Anaphi. Whilst there's nothing to do on Nisyros, Anaphi at least has a synchronization location if you want it. On the south-west coast of the island is the Anaphi Shipwreck, loot it forUnderwater Treasure (27/42).Nearby (south of the island) you will encounter the next cultist, The Octopus, who is on a ship with black sails and an octopus on them. Defeat him for the Pirate Armor andGod of the Aegean Sea Cultist (3/6). With this cultist, you will now be able to upgrade your spear to Tier 5, so fast travel to the Ancient Forge on Andros and do so. With the Tier 5 spear, you'll be able to upgrade your active abilities to Tier 3, unlocking;
Return back to the Adrestia and continue towards Thera.
Thera
Off the north-east coast of Thera is the Palace of Amphitrite, loot the three chests forUnderwater Treasure (28/42), then make your way to Thera and dock in the cove on the northern side. As you dock, you'll be prompted to use Ikaros.
A Family's Legacy
Use Ikaros to find a chest a short way inland, loot it then head up the path to the right of it to where some mirrors are. Look for where the beam stops and smash the piece of wood blocking a mirror to let the light continue. Follow the light until it's blocked by another piece of wood covering a doorway, break through it and slide down the rope to the next building. Move the wooden structures around to enable the light to pass through the northern most door, then follow the light to the next building. Move the wooden structures around again until the light shines into the room below, then break the wood covering the doorway down there to let the light hit the main door. Interact with the door, then head down the path through the cave, always aiming south. In the rooms with fire, loop round the edge of the first one, and cut across the middle of the second one. Dive down when you reach the large room at the end, and follow the pathway to the end for a cutscene.
After the cutscene plays, you'll unlock;
Birthright
Discover Atlantis and speak with Pythagoras.
1 guide
You'll now be in control of Layla, dive underwater and follow the path through the cave until you reach the room you were just in. After the cutscene, you'll be back in control of your main character, and a bunch more quests will now be available, but you'll get to them in due course.
Pephka
Dock on the northern side of Minotaur Hills and head a short way inland to find Arsenios.
The Grand Minotaur
Speak to Arsenios and agree to go on his tour, and follow him to the first stop and speak to him. Continue to the second stop, choose whether to buy the elixir or not (it doesn't mater), then follow him to the third and final stop. If you choose not to pay here, you'll have to fight two bandits, kill them and Arsenios will give you 3,500 for your help.
Leave the cave and go slightly south to find Leiandros
Minotour De Force
Speak to Leiandros in front of the three warrior statues, he'll want you to take on three pre-trials before being able to take on the Minotaur.
The Pre-Trial of Strength
South-east of Leiandros is the Warrior's Battleground where you'll find the Master of Strength. He's not a tough fight, just a regular enemy, and after fighting him, talk to him to receive the token of strength.
The Pre-Trial of Endurance
Further south-east is a wooden platform overlooking a small lake of water, speak to the woman on it, then dive down to find the Cave of Wealth. If you have Poseidon's Trident, this trial is very easy as you won't run out of air, but there are three sharks swimming around to watch out for. Deal with them if you wish, then swim down and into the cave to find the chest you're looking for and loot it. As well as completing the quest, this is alsoUnderwater Treasure (29/42).
The Pre-Trial of Accuracy
South-west of the Cave of Wealth is the Warrior's Archery Range, head here to speak to the Master of Accuracy. Use Ikaros to find his three sons, one will be in the wheat fields, one in a grain silo, and the last in a building to the east. Speak to all three of them, then return to the Master for the final token.
Bravely Ran Away
Before going east to find Leiandros, west of the Master of Archery is Morys, who is standing on top of a building threatening to jump. Tell him he's a warrior and he'll ask you to help him find some equipment to slay the Minotaur. The first item is some armor located in the leader house just across the road from Morys, use Ikaros to find it (and the large amount of guards inside) on the second floor of the building, and escape. Try not to kill the leader in the process as it'll cause you a lot of issues for the next while with the amount of bounty hunters tracking you. Once you've got the armor, head west to find Fort Lato and the chest with the axe on the southern side of it. Return to Morys, hand over the armor and the axe, and complete the quest.
Cashing in On the Cow
Head to the piece of land between Minotaur Hills and Dikte Plateau to find Leiandros in front of another set of three statues. Don't buy the tokens back, then Leiandros will inform you about another couple of people who've also just completed the pre-trials.
What Lies Below the Surface
Head east from Leiandros's location to find the two mercenaries who will take part in the quest with you. Speak to them, and follow them to the Cave of the Brave, reach the room at the end for a cutscene. Fight off the three ambushers afterwards, then talk to the warrior behind the statue.
No More Bull
Follow Leiandros out of the cave and speak to him when he stops to hide in the bushes. Choose to save Amara how you wish (stealth or all out attack), and use Ikaros to find the cave entrance on the west of Zakros. Head inside and deal with the guards, then free Amara and let her make her own way out of the cave. You'll have to fight your way out of the cave against a lot of guards, deal with them, grab the ancient tablet from the building on the south side, then leave the base to find Amara and talk to her. After the cutscene the quest will end.
You'll want to be at least level 46 before starting the next quest. If you've been following the guide, you should be there, or nearly there by now anyway. Ideally you'll want to be level 50 for the last stage, but it is possible (all be it very hard) at level 46. Anything less and the final stage will be near impossible, and certianly not fun. I have put the quest here as it is possible to do from this stage, but feel free to come back to it later, The Arena is a fast travel location so it's easy to get to.
They Just Want Cruelty
Just west of where you start following the cutscene is Maion, speak to him about the arena, then make your way east to the northern side of Pirate Point, and use Ikaros when prompted to find the entrance to The Arena in a small cove on the west coast. Speak to Skoura at the entrance, and you'll be given the choice of five opponents to face, Klaudios (level 22), Belos (level 29), Evanthe (level 36), Titos (level 42), and Vasilis (level 50). You'll also have the option to fight a mercenary, do that first to unlock;
Speak to Skoura again and start fighting your way through the five champions of the arena. Some useful skills (all at level 3) to have are;
Poison/Fire Mastery
Hero Strike
Overpower Attacks
Shield Breaker
Sparta Kick
Arrow Master
Personally, I only used arrows as a quick way to lock on to a new guard, or for a quick distraction hit to give myself more time. Mostly it was Hero Strike and Shield Breaker to get through everything.
Vs. Klaudios
Traps: Three spinning pillars with spikes on them.
Wave 1: Three level 22 guards.
Wave 2: Four level 22 guards.
Wave 3: Four level 22 guards.
Wave 4: Five level 22 guards.
Wave 5: Klaudios the King of the Bandits
At this early stage, you will have no issues defeating any of these waves, such is your level compared to them. Defeating Klaudios will reward you with the Arena Fighter's Gauntlets.
Vs. Belos
Traps: Fire pits, spinning spike pillars, flaming spinning spike pillars.
Wave 1: Four level 29 guards.
Wave 2: Five level 29 guards.
Wave 3: Four level 29 guards.
Wave 4: Five level 29 guards.
Wave 5: Belos the Beast of Sparta.
Very similar to Klaudios, you won't have any issues here with the massive level difference. Killing Belos will reward you with the Amazonian/Achilles Outfit, as well asHeroes of the Cult (2/6).
Vs. Evanthe
Traps: None
Wave 1: Two level 35 wolves, one level 35 guard.
Wave 2: Four level 35 wolves, one level 35 guard.
Wave 3: Two level 35 guards, one level 35 lynx.
Wave 4: Two level 35 bears, one level 35 guard.
Wave 5: Evanthe the Huntress, one level 35 lion.
A much more annoying series of fights as the animal attack a lot more than any guards do, but it shouldn't be too much harder then any battles you've faced following the story. Against Evanthe, take out the lion first, then focus on her.
Vs. Titos
Traps:Fire pits, spinning spike pillars, flaming spinning spike pillars.
Wave 1: Five level 43 guards.
Wave 2: Five level 43 guards.
Wave 3: Five level 43 guards.
Wave 4: Five level 43 guards.
Wave 5: Titos of Athens.
The first big challenge of the arena. Ultimately these fights are no different to any you'll have fought in the story so far either, the main difference is avoiding the traps becomes more annoying now as it's a constant stream of enemies to avoid, most of whom have shield, including Titos. Using Shield Breaker helps a lot especially on wave four, as does Hero Strike. Against Titos, get rid of his shield early and avoid as many of his unblockable attacks as possible as he uses them a lot. Defeating Titos will award you the Arena Fighter's Waistband.
As mentioned at the start of the quest, the higher your level the better for this stage. Anything below level 46 will be near impossible, and level 50 is recommended. Feel free to come back here after the next location to make it easier on yourself. I personally did this at level 52 and it was fairly easy.
Vs. Vasilis
Traps: Spike pits, spinning spike pillars, flaming spinning spike pillars.
Wave 1: Six level 50 guards.
Wave 2: Six level 50 guards.
Wave 3: Six level 50 guards.
Wave 4: Seven level 50 guards.
Wave 5: Vasilis, King of the Arena
Very similar to the previous stage, a lot of guards with shields, but fortunately no archers to deal with. Again the biggest issue will be dodging whilst also avoiding the pillar traps. Shield breaker and hero strike once again work very well here. Against Vasilis, the same tactic used against Titos will work here too, using shield breaker to remove his shield at the start, then keep up the countering and dodging. If you have it, Battlecry of Ares is also useful for the increased damage and defense.
After defeating Vasilis, you will unlock;
Heroes of the Arena
You'll now be able to fight all the opponents again, but this time at level 50, as well as a mystery opponent,
. You can't avoid fighting him regardless of what options you choose, but fortunately he's not a challenging fight compared to Vasilis. There's no traps to worry about, nor any pre fights against guards, so you'll be straight into the fight after the cutscene. He's very nimble, so straight up attacking won't be as effective as normal, so focus more on countering for the main crux of the damage. Otherwise, whatever style of fighting you usually use will work just fine here.
There's nothing more to find in Pephka, so head west and in to Messara, and Octopus Bay.
Messara
Catch and Release
In the dock in Octopus Bay, find the civilian walking around near the bags of octopus parts, her husband is missing out at sea. He's reportedly off the west coast of Anaphi, and since you came here earlier, fast travel back there and head to the west coast. Fight off the three pirates and speak to the husband, then return back to the wife.
The Lost Arkalochori Axe
Head a small way south to find the Temple of Poseidon and speak to the Priestess praying to the statue outside. The axe you're looking for is in the Arkalochori Cave, slightly east of Octopus Bay. Grab the Til Death Do Us Part ostraka before you leave, then make your way east towards the cave. Once inside, follow the path to a large open room with wooden structures everywhere, and the axe is in the room directly opposite where you enter. Deal with the guards in here, grab the axe, then return to the Priestess.
Head to the northern dock on Octopus Bay, and sail your ship to the small island just to the north to find the Sunken Temple of Eileithyia, grabbing the two chests forUnderwater Treasure (30/42). Make sure to set foot on the island.
Myths and Minotaurs
Return back to the main area of Octopus Bay and head south into Mino's Legacy. Head into Knossos Palace to find a chest to loot at the entrance to the Labyrinth of Lost Souls, and loot the chest here for a cutscene with Ardos. Follow him afterwards for another cutscene, then you'll be back outside.
Blood in the Water
Return back to Octopus Bay and to Fisherman's Beachhead to find a couple of fishermen to talk to. Head to the northern tip of Octopus Bay to find Fisherman's Beacon, and dive underwater off the southern side of it to find Hermit's Dive. Swim through the cave and follow the path for a cutscene with Swordfish. Fight him afterwards and you'll receive the Amazon/Achilles Bracers, as well asHeroes of the Cult (3/6).Loot the chest in here too forUnderwater Treasure (31/42).
Recollections
Head back south into Mino's Legacy, and to the west of Knossos Palace and south of the city of Gortyn you'll find the Collector. Speak to him and he'll want you to reclaim some armor from Daidalos Fort to the south-west of the city. On the north-west side of the fort behind a large building is the Daidalos Armory, head inside to find Theseus's Armor on a plinth on the top floor.
Full Circle
Move west of the Fort and into the Fertile Battleground region to find Ardos's House and speak to the caretaker here. Head further south-west into Phaistos Village, where you'll be prompted to use Ikaros to find the real caretaker in Phaistos Theater. Deal with the guards as you see fit, loot the Ancient Tablet, then free the caretaker. Follow him out of the village and speak to him when he stops.
Seeking Answers
Return back to Knossos Palace and speak to Ardos again.
[infomessage]Give yourself a warrior focus build for this next fight
He Waits
Follow Ardos down to the labyrinth entrance again and interact with the pillar he's standing next too to open the labyrinth. Dive down and interact with the glowing door, then follow the glowing string until you reach a body, and interact with it for a ring. Make a 180 turn and jump across the gap in the path (ignoring the string path), follow the path over some rubble and jump onto a ledge on the wall just around the corner. Jump across another gap at the end, and immediately turn right and follow the path, keeping left until you see a glowing room ahead of you. As you approach the room, a cutscene will play introducing you to the Minotaur. Overall the fight isn't much different to your standard fight against a high level mercenary, the Minotaur is only level 43, just keep dodging and using whatever skill you have at your disposal. He has a lot more health though, so it's more of an endurance fight than anything else, especially at this stage of the game. Half way through the fight, a small cutscene will play with the Minotaur becoming more enraged, and he'll attack more, but nothing really changes.
After the fight, a small cutscene will play out with Ardos and the quest will end. Your rewards for killing the Minotaur are the Minotaur's Labrys (an axe), and the Prize of the Minotaur quest item, but more importantly, you'll unlock;
Head south from Knossos Palace and you'll see a solitary tree standing on top of a hill, underneath it will be a couple of bodies and a pot to interact with to complete the Till Death do us Part ostraka.
Flowers for the Dead
Go back towards Knossos Palace and on the west side speak to the civilian standing under a tree with a bag of flowers next to him. After the cutscene, head into Zeus's Playground and climb up to the synchronization location on the south-east side to reach the area where the flowers are. Return back to where the old man was and speak to the woman standing here.
Fang for Your Buck
Head west again into the city of Gortyn and speak to the street vendor near the pool of water. If you have the three types of fang in your inventory already, you can complete this quest straight away. If not, to find the lion fang head south of of Gortyn and follow the main road south-west towards Phaistos Village. On the way you'll come across a cage in the middle of the road with bodies around it, follow the trail of blood into the hills to find the lion to kill. For the lynx, go back into Zeus's Playground, and north-east of the synchronization location will be the Lost Minoan Shrine, grab the Ancient Tablet from it, and then explore the area around in for a lynx. If you're lucky there will be a large pack of them just north-east of the shrine. For the shark tooth, head back to Octopus Bay and to Hermit's Dive on the north side to find three sharks swimming around the entrance. Once you have the three fangs, return to the vendor to end the quest.
Gortyn Out of Hand
A short way north of the street vendor you'll find a civilian in front of a large wall, between two statues. For the visiting herald, he can be found in a room in the south-west corner of the Leader House, sneak in and assassinate him. Afterwards, make your way to Daidalos Fort and search for the leader here. It's definitely recommended to take out as many guards as you can before killing the leader, otherwise you'll have a heck of a fight afterwards. Once the leader has been killed, return to Ptolemaios.
Revenge Served Cold
Head north again from Ptolemaios to the Temple on Athena Poliouchos and speak to the civilian standing out the front. Once again, head to Zeus's Playground, and whilst the objective does say kill the followers in the caves, this can also be got from killing the ones at the Lost Minoan Shrine. There will be six at the shrine, and another 6 in the Gerontospilios Caves in the north-west of the region. With the ten followers killed, return back to Gortyn to end the quest.
It's Complicated
Head into Zeus's Playground again, and on the south side of the region, just north of where two rivers meet, will be a body lying next to the river with a document next to him. Head south-west into the Fertile Battlegrounds to find the Shepherd's Hut on the road leading north-west out of the region towards Little Egypt. As you approach, you'll have to take out the Athenian guards surrounding it, before talking to the civilian. Continue along the road north-west into Little Egypt, and use Ikaros when prompted to find the wife. Kill the three guards protecting her, then enter the building she's in and interact with her to end the quest.
Bare It All
Before starting the quests in Little Egypt, head back to Zeus's Playground to complete the final quest here. At the start of the western most river, just next to the Cave of Rhea, speak to Pandaros. Kill the three wolves that come and attack then talk to him again. Afterwards, enter the Cave of Rhea and follow the path to a room with four followers of Ares in, take them out if you wish, then climb up to he ledge on the right hand side from where you entered, and follow it round to the right to find another followers inspecting the amulet. Kill him and claim the amulet to end the quest.
The Kretan Bull
Head south now into the Fertile Battlegrounds, and in the south-west corner you'll find the Kretan Bull, then next one in the Daughters of Artemis quest. The fight is very similar to the one against the Minotaur so a lot of the same tactics will work here. Keep dodging out of the way of it's attacks (they hit real hard) and gradually wear it down with normal attacks and arrows in between using skills to deal massive damage.
Go west into Little Egypt, but before taking on the quests here, head to the south-east side of the city of Kydonia to find Melite walking around Kresilas's Residence. Kill him to obtain the Waistband of the Immortal, as well asWorshippers of the Bloodline Cultist (4/6).
Civil Unrest
On the west side of Kydonia, down a small alley way, speak to the civilian sitting on a bench. There are three areas of conflict you'll need to resolve, one is just a short way east of the civilian, one next to the blacksmith, and one next to the Customs Warehouse. Deal with the conflicts as you wish then return to the civilian and read the letter on the table. Head east to where Diokles and his guards are waiting for you (near to where the couple of guards where just a minute ago), and take him and his guards out to end the quest.
Say That Again!
The last quest in Messara leads you to the west side of the island to a blacksmith arguing with another civilian. You should have plenty of Obsidian Glass at this stage of the game to complete the quest, but the two locations you're pointed to (The Sunken Ruins and) are both worth a visit anyway. Sunken Ruins is on the west coast of the island, just north of the Polyrrhenia Military CampUnderwater Treasure (32/42), whilst the Temple of Britomartis on the north side of the island has the Pilgrim's Boots legendary item. Both locations have a chest with some Obsidian Glass in if you don't have enough, then return to the Blacksmith.
The final thing to do with Messara is to find another cultist. Sail from the west coast of the island, and sailing around the area will be Melanthos. Take him out like the other ships you've dealt with forGods of the Aegean Sea Cultist (4/6),as well as the Pirate's Hood legendary item he drops.
This next bit will prove quite annoying but it's required, sail around the south coast of the island now to clear the map fog covering it to go towards the 100% achievement. Sail north from Messara towards Melos now.
Melos
Before starting the side quest here, go to the Leader House to get the Upon Typhon's Crown ostraka.
Call to Arms
In the northern part of the Black Crescent region, speak to Drakios standing in front of a statue. He'll inform you of a competition you can take part in against multiple other soldiers, but you'll either need to train for it, or pay him 4,500 drachmae to take part. If you wish to train, you'll need to head to the island of Hydrea to the north of Melos. Do as you wish, but if you decide to train on Hydrea, definitely get the synchronization location on Melos to make the return journey easier. Once on Hydrea, go to the north eastern area to find Roxana and speak with her, triggering a series of side quests in a side quest,Sparring with Roxana, Archery Practice, and Foot Race.Fight her, then after a cutscene you'll need to take out some wolves with Roxana. Another cutscene will follow after the eight of them are killed, then Roxana will want to race you to the Lover's Leap synchronization location on the south west side of the island. If you have already grabbed it as a fast travel point, you can use it but you will loose the race. Whether you win or lose, a cutscene will play and the third mini quest will end. Before you head back to Drakios, there is a small piece of land off the north coast of Hydrea you'll want to set foot on to get the progress towards the 100% map completion. Once back on Melos, speak to Drakios at the statue again.
The Great Contender
Follow Drakios and talk to him when he stops moving. After the cutscene you'll be in the large battle. You won't have to fight all contenders, but there's still quite a number that you'll have to kill yourself. Search the area with Ikaros if you're struggling to find people to fight, but after a short while, the objective will change to kill all the entrants, at which point the remaining ones will appear as markers on your compass at the top of the screen. Once everyone has been killed, return to Drakios for a cutscene, and you'll have to chose between fighting Roxana, or refusing and fighting Drakios. Choose to fight Drakios and another mini quests will appear,Legend No More.Kill Drakios and his guards and talk to Roxana. You'll be able to recruit Roxana as a legendary lieutenant if you didn't fight her.
At the top of the mountain on Typhon's Revenge, there will be a helmet to interact with, do so to complete the ostraka Upon Typhon's Crown.
Lastly, before leaving, lower the islands status to Vulnerable (easily achieved by killing the leading and attacking Trypiti Fort and start the conquest battle for the island, it doesn't matter which side you choose. Different to the other conquest battles, this one takes place at sea. One of the ships you'll have to destroy will belong to the cultist Sokos. Defeat him for the Pirate Waistband legendary items, as well asGods of the Aegean Sea Cultist (5/6).
Kythera Island
Idiot Hunt
Sail south-west from Melos and dock on the south-east side of Kythera. Speak to the lost looking woman in the dock area, then head directly west to find the Hunters Cave on the northern border of the region. Take care of the Lynx and head inside the cave to find the husband, then return him back to the woman at the dock.
I, Diona
Head north from the dock to the border with Pilgrim Hill to find Diona praying in front of a statue by the side of the road. Follow her north into the next town, taking out the two bandits on the way.
All Bonds Will Break
Return to the docks when you first landed on Kythera, and speak to the harbormaster on the roof of the northern most building. Make your way to the Customs Warehouse on the east side of the docks and use Ikaros to locate the three prisoners. Free them and return to the harbormaster.
The Handmaiden's Story
Before starting on the quest you just unlocked, then next part of Diona's quest takes you north into Aphrodite's Watch. Approach the temple at the top of the hill and interact with the door for a cutscene. Follow the path south-east from the temple and you'll reach the Olive Farm, finding three guards standing over a dead body. Kill them and interact with the body, then return to the temple.
Before leaving the temple, enter the building to the right of it and pick up the Made in Abyss ostraka.
Pick Your Poison
On the southern part of the island, you'll find the Mycenaean Ruins, as usual scan them with Ikaros to find the chest with the poison inside, as well as the Ancient Tablet here. Loot them both (approaching from the south avoids a lot of the guards), then return to Diona in Kythera Town.
The Krokottas Hyena
South from the Mycenaean Ruins, you'll find the next animal for the Daughters of Artemis quest. The hyena, like the bull, shouldn't provide you with too much of a challenge after the Arena and Minotaur fights. The hyena is much quicker to dodge, and it can be hard to land a decent combo on it, so skills and arrows will end up doing most of the work for you. Once the animal is dead, loot the corpse for it's pelt.
Atoll Order
After speaking with the harbormaster, sail south from Kythera to the small island off it's southern coast, Chytra Atoll. Use Ikaros to locate the captain on the north side of the island, then swim ashore to kill him and his guards.
Whilst on Chytra Atoll, head in to Ogylos Cave on the south side, and swim through it until your reach the very back. Interact with the skeleton to complete the Made in Abyss ostraka.
In a Rush
Return back to Diona again for a very short quest. Completing all this quests will also complete the main side quest you were working towards,Place in the Kosmos.
By The Fates
After speaking with Diona, head up the small hill to the south-west and speak to the handmaiden waiting at the entrance to the Villa and follow her inside. After the cutscene with Diona, kill the three guards, then find and talk to the handmaiden again. Travel to the north of the island back to the temple in Aphrodite's Watch, and head down the path behind it to find Diona and her sister arguing. At the end of the cutscene, choose to kill the woman on the right, rewarding you with the Armor of the Immortal, as well asWorshippers of the Bloodline Cultist (5/6). Speak to the remaining sister to end the quest.
Takes Drachmae to Make Drachmae
This quest only awards exp, so if you don't want to waste money, don't do it
On the south-east side of the temple will be a street vendor offering you untold wealth. Pay him the initial 1,000 drachmae, then head east onto the set of rocky outcrops on the eastern coast. Use Ikaros to locate the treasure chests, then return to the merchant.
Purple Pain
Head to the west coast of the island to find a man accusing another man of murdering his son. After the cutscene, use Ikaros to locate the warehouse, then head inside it to investigate a box under a table on the south side, the blood on the floor in the next section, and the tablet on the northern side. Return back to the grieving father, concluding that it was Kythera's Leader who killed him. Whilst it's advised to weaken the leader before attacking him, you can do so whenever you see fit. If he is not weakened, he'll be standing at an altar west of the Kythera Guesthouse, surrounded by several heavily armored guards. The leader will make a run for it if you attack head on, so deal with the guards and chase him down to kill him and end the quest.
A God Among Men
Slightly east from where the last quest started and up the hill will be another two civilians arguing in front of a small statue. Use Ikaros to find your target inside, take out a couple of the guards to make the escape easier, then free Empedokles from his cage, then follow him out of the fort and speak to him. Follow him again back to the statue where this quest started.
Left to Dye.
Following on from the last quest, use Ikaros to find to the man carrying the disk you've been asked to find, then return to Empedokles
Stairway to Olympos
Fast travel to the Isle of Thisvi back near Phokis (or to Phokis and sail south if you didn't come to the island earlier in the game) and head inside the cave on the north side. Drop down the hole, dive into the water, and swim through the small underwater tunnel to reach Empedokles. Interact with the statue to the left of the cracked wall to open the door up. After the cutscene, you'll be in a fight against Brontes - The Thunderer, a level 46 cyclops. His main attack will be charging at you for the first half of the fight, so just keep moving out of the way when he gets close. he's not to challenging of a fight as his movements are quite slow. Focus on shooting him in the eye to down him, then attack him relentlessly until he gets back to his feet. Once he gets to half health, a short cutscene will play with him picking up a club. His attacks become a lot more frequent now, with a lot more focus on bringing the ceiling down on to you. Keep dodging and firing arrows into his eye to keep downing him, and eventually the beast will fall. Loot his corpse when he's down to receive the Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon and end the quest.
Defeating the Cyclops will unlock;
Return back to the Kythera and sail west from it to find the leader of the Gods of the Aegean Sea cult, The Hydra. If you've been keeping up with the upgrades on your ship, the fight shouldn't be too hard. It's certianly wise to have a high level hull to at least keep the damage you sustain down as he'll be surrounded by a couple of pirate ships that will also want in on the fight. Once he's dead, you'll receive the Gorgoneion Xiphos sword, and because he wasGods of the Aegean Sea Cultist (6/6), you'll have completed the quest line relating to them as well.
After all that, it's finally time to head to Lakonia.
Lakonia
Home Sweet Home
Once you arrive at Lakonia, dock in the port on the west side of the large bay and head into the nearby village to speak to Myrrine, then follow her for another cutscene. Choose to help the child fight the wolves if you wish, the boy will die regardless, then follow Myrrine again and talk to her when you arrive.
Ambition
On the south-west side of Sparta, and in front of the statue of Leonidas speak to the guard with the feathered helmet, Lysander. He'll want you to kill three Athenian Polemarchs, but like theCreating Opportunitiesquest from earlier, it's not worth it to specifically go for this quest now, as you can gradually work on it whilst going through the rest of the game.
Head to the north-west side of Sparta, behind the Temple of Athena Chalkioikos synchronization location to find the Temple of Athena itself, inside you'll find a chest which contains the Pilgrim's Garment legendary item.
Training Days
Continue north-west from the temple into the Krypteia Training Grounds region, and the town of Pitana to find and talk to Xanthe. Agree to escort her son, and follow him to the agoge camp, taking on the wolves you'll encounter along the way. Speak to the camp master when you arrive, fight him, and end the quest.
Brothers in Arms
Speak to the camp master again, you'll need to find a couple of his students who've gone missing. Head a short way west from the camp to find a lone tent on top of a hill, investigate the burnt patch outside the tent, the shield behind the tent, the bloody patch west of the shield, the body further west from the blood, and the blood trail south of the body. Head south-west into the Mount Taygetos region to find the Cave of Sorrows, then head inside to the back area where Theoros is being kept. Kill the bandit guards and free Theoros and talk to him. Return to Pitana and speak to Xanthe to end the quest.
Not My Mother's Daughter
Head back into Sparta, and speak to Zita on the north-west side, behind the Temple of Athena. Agree to help her with her daughter, Zopheras, starting by racing her south, through the theater to the entrance of the Dromos. Fortunately Zopheras will follow the roads, making the direct route an easy win, though the win doesn't matter. Speak to her when you arrive. Jump on one of the horses in front of you, and again take the direct path to the bridge. Speak to Zopheras again when you arrive, and follow her up the nearby hill, and speak to her again, ending the quest.
A Godless Blight
South-east from where Zopheras led you is a farm. where you can speak to the owner Lanike. Speak to her workers in the fields, the one on the right wants some mint to help her stomach, which can be found on the back side of the house on a table. Return to her with the mint, then head back behind the house and down the path to interact with the broken pottery, the large patch of leather, and the stained earth. Take out your torch, and use it to burn the straw looking crops on the ground to destroy them all. Back in the fields, speak to the second worker and agree to repair his hoe. You can find a spare one next to the silo, then return to the worker. Head back to where you burnt the crops, and just east is the local river. Interact with the body under a tree, the net on the wooden platform, and the goats body along the shore. Carry the bodies out of the river and return to Lanike and speak to her for the quest to end.
A Treasury of Legends
Head back to Sparta, and on the north-east side speak to Damia in the Temple of Dionysos Kolonatas. Head inside the temple and interact with the items on the wall, the go out the second opening. It doesn't matter what options you choose when speaking to the children, but the correct responses are the ones relating to; Epic Tale, Zeus, Diktys, Danae, Gorgons Head, and Akrisios.
Sacred Favors
Make your way east out of Sparta into the Limnai Marsh region, and on the south-east side you'll find the town of Geronthai and a woman called Zeuxo on the north-east side of it. Speak to her, then grab the basket from next to her and make your way south-east into the Helot Hills region to find her husband on the coast. You can't use your horse for this so it's a bit of a trek. When you arrive at the camp, speak to Kalibos for a short cutscene, then once it ends, fight off the Athenians attacking and speak to Kalibos again.
Before taking on the next side quest, there's a couple of small things to do down here first. Go north from the beach and up a cliff to find the Tomb of the Forgotten Hero. Make your way inside and smash the wall in front of you, then the pots on the right wall to find a small gap. Head down the path, dealing with the snakes as you go, , make a right at the fork, then slide under another gap to find the room with the Ancient Stele inside. Going left at the fork will only lead you back to the starting room, so there's no point going that way.
The Lykaon Wolf
To the south of Helot Hills is the Dioskouroi Peninsula region, and on its north-western corner is where you can find the next beast for Daphne. Like the Boar from the first beast quest, the wolf is accompanied by smaller wolves to distract you as you fight, and it will keep calling more in as you kill them. Unlike the boar, the fight is still quite easy, even with the smaller wolves around. As the wolves are more focused on close range attacks rather than charging, they'll always be quite close to you, meaning that even when targeting the main wolf, you'll still be causing damage to them. As always though, use whatever skills you have to your advantage, and get used to dodging a lot, and eventually you'll take the beast down.
End of the Day
Return back to Xanthe in Pitana to complete this short quest.
Bully the Bullies
Return to the statue of Leonidas in the center of Sparta to find Myrrine, and speak to her about the old king. Pausanias will arrive during the cutscene and give you three targets to kill. The first one is in the Leader House in Sparta, just north of your current location. There will be a lot of guards here, but no leader, deal with them all as you wish, and grab the Soldier to Shoulder ostraka from the building on the south side before moving on. For the second target, head all the way east to Zarax Point to find Fort Praisai. As to be expected from a fort, it's very well guarded, but ultimately no different than the ones you've dealt with before. Once the target has been killed, go south-west into Helot Hills, and on the very western border on the coast will be the town of Krokei. On the way you may as well stop off at Menelaion and interact with the altar here to complete the Soldier to Shoulder ostraka. Once you arrive in Krokei, use Ikaros to locate the target, choose to either kill the target directly, or interact with the crowd for a cutscene. Choose the top answers to get everyone on your side, or the bottom one for them to ignore you. Either way, kill the final target to end the quest.
Directly west of Krokei you'll find the Altar of the Dioskouroi. Grab the Mapping Out ostraka, then head north-west to the Burned Temple of Apollo to find an Ancient Tablet. Make your way onto the Chasms of Taygetos region, and all the way to the south to the Pond of Tainaros, eliminate the guards if you wish, then on the north-west edge of the pond interact with the water next to a largish rock sticking out the water to complete the Mapping Out ostraka.
One Bad Spartan Spoils the Bunch
Make your way back north to the Gorani Marble Quarry and use Ikaros to locate the enemy target. Unfortunately he won't locate the weapon racks, but they're not too hard to find, and after destroying the first two, the rest are marked out for you. They can be found most easily in the small camp in the north-east corner in one of the tents, and on top of the watch tower in the south-east corner. As for the target, once he's located take him out like you would any other target.
Head north-west from the quarry to the Paidiskoi Camp and grab the Rightful King ostraka, then head to the highest point of Mount Taygetos and interact with the sword in the stone to complete the Rightful King ostraka. With that all done, return to Sparta.
Kings of Sparta
Talk to Brasidas in Sparta for a meeting with Pausanias and Archidamos. Choose to do what the kings ask, and you'll be given a choice of three story lines to follow, Paint It Red, The Cult and the Archon, and The Olympian. Start with The Olympian as that's the nearest one.
Delivering a Champion
Talk to Alkon to the south-west of Sparta, then use the Adrestia to travel to the southern islands of Messenia. As you sail out of Lakonia, keep to the east coastline and near the southern edge you find the Palopetri location, which is Underwater Treasure (33/42),and also step on the small island just west of it. There's another location on the southern tip of the Lakonia/Messenia border too, the Dorion Underwater Cave, which is Underwater Treasure (34/42). Dock at the east most island near Messenia, then head ashore and find Testikles on the northern part of the island. After the cutscene, swim into the Shipwreck of Nestor on the east side of the island forUnderwater Treasure (35/42), climb back aboard the Adrestia and go the the north-west corner of the map and to Elis, and once docked, speak to Alkibiades to unlock the next part of the quest.
Elis
Before starting the next set of quests, sail a short way south of the dock to find the Olympic Shipwreck, which isUnderwater Treasure (36/42).
To the north-east of the dock is the Kingdom of Pelops region, and on the south-west side of it is the Temple of Hades where you can get the Centaur Field ostraka. Head into the Plains of Flax and on the east side of the region will be a small cave entrance with a centaur outside it, go inside and interact with the bag of fruit to complete the Centaur Fields ostraka. Move north into the Forgotten Swamps to find the Dyspontion Ruins for an Ancient Tablet, then further north to the Underwater Ruins of Dyspontion forUnderwater Treasure (37/42).South-east of here is the Spring of Piera, grab the Ancient Tablet from outside, then locate the cave entrance in the south-east corner up a cliff, and follow it through to where you can pick up the Prophecy Prevention ostraka. In the north-east of the region, enter the Tomb of the First Champion and follow the path. In the first room move the shelves next to the wooden wall to climb up it, then when you reach a seemingly dead end with a large spike trap in the middle, smash the wall on the right to continue. Keep following the path, one of the rooms will have five snakes in the middle, then when you reach a hallway with two spike traps close to each other, smash the wall of the right between them, if you reach the movable shelf you've gone too far, so head back round the corner and smash the wall that'll now be on your left. Head through the gaps and grab the Ancient Stele, then exit the tomb.
The Erymanthian Boar
Head north-west from the Tomb to come across the next legendary beast. Whilst the fight itself isn't too different to any other legendary beast you've fought (dodge the charges and use whatever abilities you have handy), the boar does have one annoying trait. Every so often, the boar will emit a poisonous gas that doesn't disappear until the fight is over, meaning that the area you fight it in becomes more restrictive every time it uses the gas. Fortunately there are no smaller boars running around to distract you, but there may be the odd bear from the local area that ventures in to the fight if you're unlucky. Once the boar is dead, the quest is over.
Barnabas Abroad
Head south-east into the Valley of Olympia, and on the northern side of the area with all the buildings is where you'll find Barnabas and follow him briefly and talk to him again. Choose any of the locations to meet him at, then go there and talk to him. Do the same at each of the locations to complete the quest.
Throwing the Bet
On the west side of Olympia and speak to the street vendor, then talk to Pithekos in the small arena down the steps. To get him his javelin back, you can either buy one from the shop to the south of him (2,000 drachmae), or steal one from the gymnasium to the north. If you choose to buy the javelin, feel free to place a high value bet on the result as Pihtekos will win, however if you chose the stolen javelin, don't bet as he'll lose instead.
The Message, the Stick, and the Artist
Just outside the Sanctuary of Olympia is Phidias's Workshop, head inside and speak to Phidias. Make your way into the Temple of Zeus and climb up the statue at the back to interact with the symbol on it's chest, then return back to Phidias. There are three more statues you'll need to visit for the next quest, one on Kythera, one on Thasos, and one on Samos.
The Kytheran Statue
This one is very easy to find, head to the island of Kythera, and on the east coast, travel to Aphrodite's Beauty, the synchronization location here. On the back of the statue is the marking you're looking for.
The Samian Statue
Travel back to Samos, and sail north to the small island where the Temple of Poseidon is, climb all the way up the statue here, and on his spear is where the next marking is. The last part of this quest,The Thasian Quest, will be saved for later when you reach that part of the map, for now, return back to Elis.
Gutter Runner
Outside the Temple of Zeus will be a man promising to tell your future standing in the middle of the street. After the short scene, chase down the thief, then make your way south to find the Endymion Camp. Scan the camp for the captain, kill him, then return back to Maia the thief and talk to her.
Kallipateira
Outside the hippodrome, speak to the woman on her knees being shamed by a small crowd, then make your way to the resting area north of the Temple of Zeus. Speak to the man at the bottom of the steps, the woman in front of the statue, the man on the bench in the shaded area, then interact with the piece of paper on the table, and the paper next to the pile of rugs on the other side of the shaded area. Make your way north up the mountain to find the ritual taking place, choose the innocence option and end the quest.
Whilst here, climb up the statue and interact with the right wing to complete the Prophecy Prevention ostraka.
The Drachmae of Romance
Return back to the Temple of Zeus, and speak to Herodotos at the north-western corner, then head further north to find the treasuries. Speak to the guard outside, then investigate the open door behind him, and the note underneath the large tree behind the buildings. Make your way north-east to find the Destroyed House of Oinomaos and climb up it to find the thieves. Choose to kill the thieves or the parents, it makes no difference and end the quest.
At the north-eastern side of the house, there is a semi-hidden pathway through the mountain. Follow the short path and you'll come across an Ancient Stele.
The Contender
Make your way to the stadium on the north-east side of Olympia (the town, not the region) and use Ikaros to find Paios. Talk to Paios to start the Pankration, and after a cutscene, you'll be in a couple of one-on-one fist fights against fairly easy opposition. If you have the overload attack, using that will take them down in one fell swoop.
The Long Game
After the cutscenes at the end of the last quest, head into the building in the south-west corner of the area to find a couple of bodies lying on the floor, then follow the objective marker to the next room and inspect the jug on the wicker box, the fruit on the center table, and the letter in the store room. Back out the room and go slightly south-east to find Priam and talk to him. Go to the north-eastern part of the Valley of Olympia to find Fort Koroibos, with the antidote located on the eastern side of it. There's a very handy rope running from the entrance gate to the roof of the building with the antidote in it you can use to get in and out of the the fort quickly, then return back to Alkibiades in the Sanctuary of Olympia. Just a warning that killing anyone, or being spotted in the fort will increase your bounty massively.
Pankration
Make your way to the north-east side on the Sanctuary again to speak to Paios for another fist fight. After defeating your opponent, a short cutscene will play and you'll unlock the following achievement;
Whilst you're here, Kallias will be walking around, kill him forPeloponnesian League Cultist (3/6)and get the Spartan War Hero Boots legendary item he dropped. The sanctuary is also a good place to raise your bounty to its maximum level as it takes significantly less bad behavior to do so. Make a quick save if you wish and kill several of the civilians in the local area, raising your bounty to it's maximum very quickly, unlocking;
Infamous
Raise your Bounty to the maximum level.
9 guides
Reload your save if you wish then carry on with the story. If you'd rather have an even easier method to get this, there's one at the end of the chapter.
Arkadia
As you enter this area, you'll get a tier three bounty, this won't be cleared until the main quest for the location is completed, but it won't provide to many issues along the way. In the Forest of Soron region in the north-west corner, make your way into the Temple of Apollo along the border with Elis to grab the Strange Disease ostraka. From here, head west along the border with Elis to reach the Cave of Ionides and head inside to interact with the basin next to the water to complete the Strange Disease ostraka. A little further east and you'll find the Tomb of the Daughter of Atlas, a very simple tomb with only one short path to follow to get the Ancient Stele. Further east, in the Golden Fields region, is the Waterfall of Styx, which is another very simple tomb to complete, just go right after the first set of stairs and follow the path round the corner to the Ancient Stele. Head slightly north-east to find the Deserted Farm where you can pick up the Farming Coin ostraka, then go north to find the village of Stymphalos, and on its eastern side will be some ruins in the water, climb up the southern most one and interact with the cabbages to complete the Farming coin ostraka.
Kallisto the Bear
In the south-eastern corner of the Golden Fields region, along the border with Argolis, is the next legendary beast to kill. Kallisto is one of the easier legendary animals to kill, on account of it having no supports, no random abilities, and generally being quite slow to attack. It can hit hard, but other than that there's nothing to worry about if you just keep dodging out of the way.
To Kill or Not to Kill
In the north-west corner of Smuggler's Forest, on the border with the Golden Fields, is a hill with a pathway leading up it. It's not marked on the map in any way, so this is the area you're looking for. At the top of a hill is where you will find a mercenary to speak to, and after the cutscene you'll end up fighting him, then deal with him how you wish after the fight. Head south-west into the Pan's Cradle region, and go up the mountain on the south side of the region to find Brasidas and Myrrine, choose to follow Brasidas's plan to start the next quest. Whichever option you choose to go with, the side quests for the other person will still be available to do. As you'll be doing Brasidas's quests for the story, Myrrine's are listed first and separately.
Breaking Bread
This requires clearing out three locations in the local area, Kepheus Camp on the western side of Smuggler's Forest, Fort of Arkas in the northern part of Smuggler's Forest, and the Barracks in Tegea in the center of Pan's Cradle. Kill all the enemies in each of the three locations to end the quest.
Fourth-Degree Burns
Another very short and simple quest, make your way to the north-west corner of Pan's Cradle to find Lagos's Compound. Simply burn down the three silo's here to end this quest. Whilst you're here, you'll also be able to grab the Sweet Tooth ostraka from the building in the middle.
Judge, Jury, Executioner
Another couple of support quests will start this quest.
White Lies and Blackmail
Make your way north to the Archon's Safe House and head inside to find Brasidas. After a cutscene continue north the find the Scorched Tree, you'll need to free a prisoner, do so and kill the cultist guards that attack, then head east to find the hideout and drop down into it to end the quest.
Gluten Free
Make your way through the cave, killing the four guards you find along the way. At the end of the cave you'll find Lagos's wife and child being held prisoner, free them and talk to his wife to end this support quest.
Time to head a long way west, but there are a couple of places to stop of at on the way. Back in Tegea, go into the Temple of Demeter and Kore on the southern side, and loot the chest inside to find Herakles's Mace. Head into the south-east corner of Pan's Cradle to find a small stack of honey to interact with, completing the Sweet Tooth ostraka. South-west, and along the border between the Valley of Artemis and Lykosoura Highlands is the Lost Horse of Odysseus, where you can find the Hobby Horsing ostraka. Continue west into Lykosoura Highlands to find the Origins of the Karyatids and an Ancient Tablet Continue further west into the Forest of Soron and to the Arrachion Camp, clear it of enemies then locate a table on the north-east side (it has a small chest on it), and interact with the small horse to complete the Hobby Horsing ostraka.
Head north from the Arrachion Camp to find Fort Samikon, and use the cliffs to make your way to the west side of the fort to find an easy way towards Lagos. Interact with the door where he is hiding for a cutscene, and ask him to leave the cult, but you'll only be able to do this if you killed the Monger in the cave, rather than the theater. Leave the fort to the east and you'll find Myrrine and Brasidas again, speak to them to end this set of quests.
Whether you chose to kill him or not, Lagos will no longer be a member of the cult, giving youPeloponnesian League Cultist (4/6)and the Spartan War Hero Belt legendary item. Before continuing the story, it's time for another diversion through a couple of areas you won't visit otherwise, Messenia and Achaia. Messenia only has a couple of ostrakas and legendary items so you can skip most of it, but you will still need to set foot in each of its regions anyway.
Messenia
On the eastern side of the Mines of the Great Trench region you'll find Terror Gorge, which has the Tastes Like Chicken ostraka inside, then travel to the Temple of Zeus synchronization location, and inside a small building on the eastern side is a bag of grain to interact with to complete the ostraka (you may have to kill the chickens first to interact with the bag). In Andania Mine, there are two standard chests too loot, but there's also a third secret one, hidden with the mine pathways themselves. Enter this pathway on the northern side of the mine and follow it through to the open area where there will be a chest on the ground floor which contains Eros's Bow. Directly south in Exile hills is the Palace of Apharues, which contains an Ancient Tablet, as well as the Foggy Memory ostraka, then west of here on top of a hill in the Bay of Hades is Mount Ithome Fort, which has a chest containing Hades's Bident on its northern side.
Head south-east into the Valley of Aristomenes, and on the north-western side of Aipeia is the Temple of Apollo Korythos where you can get the Procession of Bones ostraka, then head to the north-east of the region to find Kedeas Cave. Drop down into the hole of the east side of it and interact with the covered body to complete the Procession of Bones ostraka. Make sure to set foot in the West Taygetos Foothills region before continuing on, then head back north to Messene village, and under a tree on the east side of the lake is a crate to interact with to complete the Foggy Memory ostraka. That's everything for Messenia, time to head north to Achaia.
Achaia
For simplicity sake, it's better to work west to east as you'll eventually be heading east to Boeotia anyway, so with that in mind you can fast travel to the Kingdom of Pelops in Elis, then travel north to reach the Istion Valley. There's several cultists in this region, but only two can be accessed at this point of the game, and one requires fighting in the conquest battle for the Athens side, so keep that in mind as you cross the various regions. Head east into the Mount Panachaikos region, and up the mountain to the south to find the Tomb of Eurypylos. It's not a hard tomb to follow as there's only one pathway, but it's quite lengthy. Smash the required walls and pots when needed, as well as moving one shelving unit out the way to eventually reach the Ancient Stele. Leave the cave and head north-east to find the Ruins of Helike on the eastern side of Poseidon's Wrath, where you can grab an Ancient Tablet and the Showboat ostraka. Head west back to the Mount Panachaikos region and to it's northern side to the port of Patrai. Firstly, make your way to the theater on the southern side, and interact with the boat in the middle to complete the showboat ostraka. There is also a cultist in this area as well, although without the relevant clue he can be very hard to find as his path covers quite a large region (this is the man you are looking for, but if you can't find him, the clue is located here in Scavenger's Coast). Once Machaon has been defeated you'll have killedThe Silver Vein Cultist (4/6)and receive Agamemnon's Helmet as a reward.
Head south into Erymanthos Peaks, and to the Teichos of Herakles on it's western side to grab the Dye Dye Dye ostraka, then head east to find the village of Boura and on it's south side interact with the red dye to complete the Dye Dye Dye ostraka. Make your way all the way east into the Kyllene Foothills, and to the Sanctuary of Poseidon in its south-west corner to grab the Belly Flop ostraka. Go north-west into into Scavenger's Coast, and on the north side you'll find Shipwreck Cove, which isUnderwater Treasure (38/42),make sure to set foot on the small piece of land north-east of it as well. Whilst here, head up the rocks south of Shipwreck cove and dive down the hole in the top to end up in a small cave. Interact with the body lying on the rocks to complete the Belly Flop ostraka.
With that all done, continue west to start the conquest battle on the Athenian side. It's no different to any other conquest battle, except after killing a few captains, Pallas the Silencer will appear and fight you. Kill him as you would any other cultist or mercenary forHeroes of the Cult Cultist (4/6),and also the Amazonian/Achilles Circlet. Once the battle is over, it's time to head to Boeotia. Use the Adrestia to approach it from the west to dock in the Mount Helikon region.
Boeotia
Once you've docked, head north to find the Kreusis Military Camp, where you can grab the Pigsty ostraka from a tent at the rear of the camp. Follow the road east out of the Port of Kreusis and you'll come across an altar at the border between the two regions. Go up the the altar and interact with the pig being worshiped to complete the Pigsty ostraka.
A Life's Dedication
Head into the Reborn Hills region to find a man and his dead horse surrounded by several wolves. Take care of the wolves and speak to the man, then follow him towards the Cave of the Oracle. Talk to him when you arrive, then slide through the hole in the wall where the people are worshiping, and go right at the fork to come across a door and interact with it. Go down the stairs and left at the first fork, then up another set of stairs and follow the path until you reach a room with a hole in the middle. Drop down and interact with the southern wall, the small statue on the floor, and the chest, then return to Eppie to end the quest.
Head north-east out of the cave to find the Tower of Askre to find an Ancient Tablet, as well as the Fire in the Belly ostraka. Afterwards, head west tothe Temple of Athena Itonia for another Ancient Tablet, then make your way to the center of the structure to find a small metal object on top of a pillar to interact with and complete the Fire in the Belly ostraka.
Language of the Ancients
Head back east and to Lake Kopais, and make your way out to the Ruins of Arne, then dive down and find the chest, however you can't open it yet. Swim a small way north-east (still underwater) to find a body next to a broken pillar which has the key to the chest. You'll need to return to Eppie to complete the quest, but whilst down here, loot the other chest nearby to completeUnderwater Treasure (39/42).Eppie will once again be in the Cave of the Oracle, speak to him to end this quest and unlock the next part.
Lore of the Sphinx
Make your way back to Lake Kopais, and on it's southern side up a small mountain will be a strange set of ruins. Head up to them and speak to Gorgias when there, then south-east to the Tomb of Menoikeus. Use Ikaros to locate the target, then head up an kill it to retrieve the second half of the amulet and end the first half of this quest.
Awaken the Myth
Return back to the ruins and interact with the panel where the statue was (note: it must be night time when you do this so hold
to advance time if needed). Following the cutscene, you'll be given three questions, which are generated from a selection of twelve, listed below;
*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***At night they come without being fetched, and by day they are lost without being stolen The Stars I create my lair with earthen string, and dispatch my prey with a biting sting - Spiders I'm alive but without breath, I'm as cold in life as in death, I'm never thirsty though I always drink - Fish In spring I am gay in handsome array, in summer more clothing I wear, when colder it grows I fling off my clothes and in winter quite naked appear - Tree Never resting never still, moving silently from hill to hill, it does not walk run or trot, all is cool where it is not - Sun This thing all things devour: birds, beasts, trees, flowers, gnaws iron, bites steel, grinds hard stones to meal, slays kings, ruins towns, and beats high mountain down - Time Some try to hide some try to cheat, but time will show we always will meet. Try as you might to guess my name, I promise you'll know when you I do claim - Death What can bring back the dead, make you cry, make you laugh, make you young, is born in an instant, yet lasts a lifetime - Memories What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps - River What is always old and sometimes new, never sad sometimes blue, never empty but sometimes full, never pushes always pulls - Moon What is large yet never grows, has roots that cannot be seen, and is taller than trees - Mountains As small as your thumb, I am light in the air. You may hear me before you see me, but trust me I am there - Hummingbird
Afterwards, you'll be asked to interact with the symbols that correspond to the answers you gave. Going clockwise from looking at the Sphinx, they are;
Moon > Sun > Stars > Tree > Mountain > River > Memory > Time > Death > Hummingbird > Fish > Spider.
Talk with the Sphinx again afterwards to unlock the following achievements;
The Hunting Party
Head east out of the cave to in to the Cursed Lands of Oedipus to eventually end up in the city of Thebes. On the north side of Thebes you can find Hippokrates, who'll ask you to go save what remains of a hunting party to the east of Thebes. The group you're looking for is just south of the village of Mykalessos, use Ikaros when prompted to help find them, then defeat the two bears attacking the party, then use Phobos to help you escort the wounded man back to Hippokrates.
Let My Patients Go
Speak to Hippokrates again, tell him to save the patient either way, then agree to help free the slaves. Head east of of Thebes again and to the north-east corner of the Lake Kopais region to find the Melanippos Camp, then use Ikaros to find the prisoner. Free the three of them, leaving the one at the north-east side of the camp until last, then carry her up the side of the mountain to the safe location. Talk to her once there, then return back to Hippokrates again. You'll receive Hermes's Kerukeion for completing this quest.
Inheritance Insurance
Travel to the south-west side of Thebes to find Hippokrates again, this time dealing with a patient that actually wants to die. Head to the Leader House nearby, and you'll need to loot the three chests located around the building. Deal with the guards however you wish, then head up the tower of the building to grab the Stadium Love ostraka whilst you're here. Return back to Hippokrates and Pentheus to end the quest.
Too Much of a Good Thing
Talk to Hippokrates again, then head south out of Thebes and follow the road directly south into the Ruins of Plataia region. As you approach a bridge, use Ikaros to locate the three patches of hemlock (you only need one however), then return to Hippokrates once you've picked some up. Choose whichever option you like to deal with the patient, ending the quest.
With these four quests, the Hippokrates questline is complete, unlocking;
Head out the eastern side of Thebes again and you'll find a heart shaped lake with a bridge across it, interact with the helmet on the bridge to complete the Stadium Love ostraka.
Chasing Phantoms
Head south-east from the lake into Oropos Heights and you'll arrive at the Tomb of Orion, head inside for a cutscene, then whilst you're here you may as well grab the Ancient Stele from inside. Head down the stairs and go left at the two forks to find the Ancient Stele. Leave the tomb and head south, up the mountain to find the Cave of Madness. Head inside and deal with the three guards inside, then return to Eppie once more. Because we went to the next location much earlier in the game (Sunken Temple of Aphrodite for an earlier underwater treasure), you'll actually complete two quests here,Chasing Phantomsas well asThe Tribute.
The Tribute
If you didn't visit the location earlier, the Sunken Temple of Aphrodite is located off the north east coast of the Cursed Land of Oedipous. Dive underwater and there will be a luxury chest in the center of the ruins, but you can always use Ikaros to make finding it easier.
Origins of a Ritual
Once again, head north out of the cave to the north-west side of Lake Kopais to find the City of Orchomenos, and the Burned Temple of Charities on its eastern side. Speak with the woman at the entrance, interact with the broken pots behind her in the building, and the scarf on the floor in the next room. Head to the southern side of the city now and use Ikaros when prompted to find your target and kill him.
Keep the Faith
Once again return to Eppie at the Cave of the Oracle and talk to him for a cutscene, and an end to this questline.
Head east back to Oropos Heights, and to it's highest point to find a small bag and an apple sat on a few planks of wood, interact with them to complete the Elbow Greece ostraka.
The Conqueror
Head a short way west to the nearby Spartan Military Camp, and upon arriving you'll meet up with an old 'friend', he'll task you with killing four Boeotian champions dotted around the area.
The Last Hunt of Nesaia
The closest one to the Spartan Camp you're in is Nesaia, she'll be on the north-eastern side of the Oropos Heights, the region just east of the camp. As you approach the area you'll be prompted to use Ikaros to find the camp, but Nesaia isn't there. Instead, investigate the fire, the entrance to the hut, and the tracks on the path leading north-west from the camp. Hide yourself nearby until nightfall (or rest by holding
) and Nesaia will arrive and sleep at the camp, accompanied by a bear. Take out the bear first, then Nesaia to make the potential fight with her a bit easier.
The Stolen Steed
Make your way into Thebes, and to the west of the blacksmith will be a man standing next to two carts sounding very depressed. Head east out of Thebes to the Potnies Military Camp near the eastern coast, and use Ikaros to locate the merchants horse. Kill the guards if you wish, then mount the horse and return it back to the owner. Completing this quest will add some flaming oil jars to the area where the next story mission takes place.
Brewing Love
Continue to the west side of Thebes to the gymnasium and speak to Melanippos inside, then head west out of Thebes along the main path. A short way out of the city, use Ikaros to locate the farm required, and take out the guards around it before interacting with the door. Pay the herbalist to 1,000 drachmae, then return to Melanippos to complete the quest. Completing this quest will remove the armor from Drakon during the next part of the story.
The End of Drakon
Head north-east from Thebes and to the northern coast of the Cursed Land of Oedipous to find your second champion, Drakon. Once again, use Ikaros to pinpoint his exact location. Take him out in whichever manner you see fit, but be warned as he is fairly strong. If you've done the last two side quests, he'll be a lot easier due to the lack of armor, but be careful due to the addition of fire jars surrounding his location.
The Last Fight of Aristaios
The third champion, Aristaios, is located on the island in the middle of Lake Kopais, at the south-eastern tip next to the synchronization location, and as you approach a cutscene will play. Send the person you met with back to Stentor and the quest will end.
Sibling Revenge
Go north-west into the City of Orchomenos and head back to the temple on the coast to speak to Timon. Head east, along the northern coast of the lake to find Astra's Training Grounds. Use Ikaros to locate Astra, kill her and loot her body to recover her necklace, then return to Timon to end the quest. Completing this will also make the next quest easier, as Daianeira will be walking around alone, rather than with her cousin. If you give the necklace to Timon, he will also join your crew if you ask him.
The Fall of Daianeira
The last champion to find is Daianeira, she'll be found in the Cave of Oracle, a location you should be more than familiar with by now. Head inside the cave, go left at the fork for a change and follow the pathway, diving down when needed to come across Daianeira. Kill her as you would any other strong character to end the quest. She's also a cultist so killing her will be Heroes of the Cult Cultist (5/6)and reward you with the Amazon's/Athenian's Greaves.
If you've gone ahead and go to Mercenary rank 1, you'll now have actually completed the Heroes of the Cult line, as the previous number 1 mercenary, Exekias, was the leader of this branch. If not, you'll be able to find him in the Olouros Fortress in Achaia, in the Erymanthos Peaks region forHeroes of the Cult Cultist (6/6).
Return to Stentor for a cutscene, and you'll then be a conquest battle. After killing the first three captains, you'll face off against the enemy hero. They'll be quite a bit tougher than any of the enemies you've fought so far, but not by much, then once they're dead, you'll be tasked with killing a Polemarch as well. With both of them dead, finish off the rest of the battle to claim victory. If you've followed the advise of the guide, not taking the negative options in any conflict, you'll be teased a fight with Stentor, but that'll be prevented by the person you met earlier.
A Bloody Feast
Following the cutscenes, you'll need to head back to Lakonia to meet Myrrine, talk to her to go into the meeting with the kings. When given the option to choose who to accuse, choose Pausanias, (If you choose Archidamos, you will instantly get the maximum bounty put on you) and he will be exiled from Sparta. Track him south out of the city and kill him and his guards. During the cutscene, choose to help Brasidas, and promise Myrrine that you'll bring Deimos back.
For killing Pausanias, you'll get the Amazon's/Athenian's Greaves, as well asPeloponnesian League Cultist (5/6).
The Battle of Pylos
Fast travel to the Adrestia, where ever you currently have it docked, and make your way to the south coast of Messenia again, where you previously found Testikles, and as you approach you'll see the glow of a large fire from the coast. Disembark on the west side of the island, unless you want to end up fighting four Athenian ships, and make your way to the Spartan camp to speak with the officer. After the cutscene you'll be in another conflict battle, and once again you'll have to kill three captains to progress. Shortly after killing the third captain, you'll be in a fight with Deimos. Deimos is unique in that his health bar will be at the top of the screen, rather than above his head, meaning he's definitely the hardest fight of the game so far. Use all the tricks in your playbook (I used poison). He'll attack fast, and frequently with area attacks, not just close up ones. Either he'll jump and impact the ground (causing a red circle to appear around you on the floor), or he'll summon lines of fire from the floor, but both are easy to avoid. You'll not be able to do too much damage to him outside of his resting spells (when he goes on to one knee), so just fire arrows at him to gradually weaken him from a position of safety, then attack with your melee when the opportunity comes. After defeating him, a cutscene will play, and choose "Hold On!", ending the chapter, and unlocking;
